i appreciated the excellent central location with easy access to city attractions. the room was clean and well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. complimentary coffee and muffins each morning was a nice plus. friendly staff was always available and helpful with any requests.
The bathroom could use a bit more updating. I noticed some minor wear and tear on the fixtures.

the location near plaza catalunya was very convenient for transportation. the staff provided helpful city information and recommendations. i appreciated the 24/7 availability of coffee and tea. i also found the provision of a small snack pack with juice and a muffin each morning thoughtful.
the room faced the street and there was some noise from cars at night.

some drawbacks observed
poor soundproofingunfixed showerhead
the room lacked soundproofing. noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms was quite audible. it made restful sleep difficult to achieve. also, the shower setup proved inconvenient. the showerhead was not fixed, made showering awkward and uncomfortable.

the hotel had a very central location. the staff was very cute and ready to help anytime. i liked the security of the hostal. the water machine to refill our bottle came in handy.
the breakfast package included a cupcake and an industrial fruit nectar, i think they could replace that with milk and a small fruit.
