central location clean room comfortable bed friendly staff
i appreciated the excellent central location with easy access to city attractions. the room was clean and well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. complimentary coffee and muffins each morning was a nice plus. friendly staff was always available and helpful with any requests.
The bathroom could use a bit more updating. I noticed some minor wear and tear on the fixtures.

the location near plaza catalunya was very convenient for transportation. the staff provided helpful city information and recommendations. i appreciated the 24/7 availability of coffee and tea. i also found the provision of a small snack pack with juice and a muffin each morning thoughtful.
the room faced the street and there was some noise from cars at night.

the double room included a seating area plus a large desk. it opened onto a shared outdoor terrace. the room was very clean and the housekeeping service was consistent .

the shared lounge area offered complimentary coffee and tea at all times. a microwave was available for guest use. the elevator was a definite plus. however, there were some stairs to climb before reaching the elevator.

a small bag containing juice and a muffin was provided to each guest every morning. plates and cutlery were available. i could buy food outside and eat at the hotel. there was a fridge, but it was in a separate area.

some drawbacks observed
poor soundproofing unfixed showerhead
the room lacked soundproofing. noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms was quite audible. it made restful sleep difficult to achieve. also, the shower setup proved inconvenient. the showerhead was not fixed, made showering awkward and uncomfortable.

the hotel had a very central location. the staff was very cute and ready to help anytime. i liked the security of the hostal. the water machine to refill our bottle came in handy.
the breakfast package included a cupcake and an industrial fruit nectar, i think they could replace that with milk and a small fruit.

The location is near tourist sites, the metro line, and the bus routes. This made getting around easy. it provided access to transportation to and from the airport. i found it very clean.
